Copilot v2.4 rolled out to all subscribers this week. Three headline changes: session-aware signal filtering, tighter risk labels, and improved confluence scoring. Here's what shifts in day-to-day use.
1. Session-aware signals
Old versions treated 3AM the same as 3PM. That's wrong — a XAUUSD H1 setup at 3AM (Asian session) behaves differently from the same setup at London open. v2.4 tags every symbol with its "active sessions" and downgrades signals fired outside them.
Practical result: fewer stop-outs on gold from Asian-session pips-hunt fakeouts. You still see the signal, but it's flagged CAUTION rather than STRONG.
2. Tighter risk labels
Every signal now carries one of five labels: LOW, NORMAL, ELEVATED, HIGH, EXTREME. Old labels were fuzzy — "medium risk" meant different things on gold vs bitcoin. New labels are calibrated per-symbol against 90-day realized volatility, so LOW on BTC is not the same dollar risk as LOW on EURUSD but is the same behavioral risk.
Position-sizing widget on the terminal reads this label and pre-fills your suggested lot size. Just plug in your account size and go.
3. Confluence scoring rebuilt
The CONF% number every signal displays is now weighted by three inputs:
- Multi-timeframe alignment (40% weight)
- Volatility regime match (30% weight)
- Historical hit-rate at similar setups (30% weight)
Signals below 60% CONF are hidden by default. You can toggle them back on in Settings → Signal Filter.
The signals are the same; the filtering is smarter. That's the whole point of v2.4 — fewer, better trades instead of more, noisier ones.
What we saw in beta
Two weeks of beta testing across 40 accounts showed:
- Signal count dropped 35% (as expected — filtering was tighter)
- Win rate on remaining signals rose from 58% to 67%
- Average R multiple per trade improved from 1.4R to 1.9R
The engine trades less and wins more. That's the trade-off we optimized for.
How to see it
Log in and open the terminal. Signals now show session badges (ASIA · LONDON · NY) and updated confidence bars. Nothing else changed — same panel, same live prices, same shortcuts.
Next up (v2.5, October): AI Copilot's own commentary on why each signal fired. Explainability at last.
